The Financial Model Connects Every Operating Decision
A BIM clash detection financial model should not be a revenue forecast pasted above a list of expenses. It should connect technical scope to labor hours, capacity, pricing, collections, funding, owner compensation, and payback. In the model, LOD and model readiness should therefore change estimated hours, risk allowance, and fee—not sit in a technical appendix.

Use the model as an operating control.
Update actual hours, realization, contribution margin, backlog, DSO, and cash every month. Compare each project with its original assumptions. The gap between estimate and actual becomes the pricing intelligence for the next proposal.
The investment case is strongest when the founder can prove three things: coordination work is priced from measurable scope, delivery standards keep rework low, and collections are managed tightly enough that growth does not consume all available cash. A financial model, business plan, or pitch deck can help organize those assumptions, but the decisive evidence will be signed backlog, repeat clients, project-level margins, and cash conversion.
