The market supports very different positions. A current Barnett entry model is listed near $349.99, while TenPoint’s current catalog includes premium packages above $4,500. Those are list-price examples, not average realized prices. Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Costs Cannot Be Treated as Overhead
Crossbows are consumer products with stored mechanical energy, moving parts, and safety-critical assemblies. Recall history shows that unexpected discharge, trigger issues, and component failures are not theoretical. The funding stack should match asset life and cash timing. Long-lived equipment and facility improvements can support term debt or equipment financing. Paper payback usually stretches because launch cash flow is not steady-state cash flow.
