Capacity is not just press speed. Preflight, proof approval, version control, cutting, sorting, collation, pack-out, and quality checks can become the bottleneck. A shop that can print 100,000 card faces in a shift may still ship far fewer sellable cards when every set requires unique names, serial numbers, foil variants, or hand collation.

Customer acquisition cost should be measured by segment. A school program won through outbound sales may cost more to acquire but repeat for several seasons. Break-even depends on contribution margin, not gross sales alone.
