The key operating lever is not simply price. It is contribution per constrained hour. If a 400-unit private-label run generates $1,600 of contribution but uses eight production hours, it creates $200 per line hour. A 2,000-unit standard run generating $5,000 in contribution over ten hours creates $500 per line hour. Essential oils are not regulated under one universal category. Intended use controls the pathway. A product sold only to scent a room may be treated differently from a skin-applied cosmetic, an ingestible flavor, a product claiming to treat anxiety or infection, or an insect repellent.
