A simple working-capital example

Tax treatment of equipment can change timing, not operating economics. The base formula gives 1.67 years: $100,000 divided by $60,000. Adding a six-month ramp produces about 2.2 years. That is a more honest planning answer because early months may generate little or no distributable cash. The conservative case stretches to roughly four years when sales close slowly, onboarding labor is high, or the founder must hire before revenue.
