The operating ceiling is not simply 11 driving hours multiplied by calendar days. FMCSA’s property-carrier rules generally limit driving to 11 hours after 10 consecutive hours off and prohibit driving beyond the 14th consecutive on-duty hour, with weekly limits also applying.
