A clear route from data to controlled workflows

1. Trusted data

Clean and map inputs, preserve the source trail, and reconcile every adjustment.

2. Financial analysis

Build an EBITDA bridge and separate observed changes from unverified causes.

3. Scenario models

Make volume, price, unit cost and fixed-opex assumptions visible and testable.

4. Repeatable workflows

Write inputs, outputs, owners, stop rules and review steps into a reusable runbook.

5. Connected agents

Specify narrow tool permissions, finite run limits and human approval before release.

6. Reliable operations

Use a test set, exception log and named owner to keep the process accountable.

AI Finance Roadmap: six learning stages, eight Markdown prompts and a worked case. PDF, MD and CSV files in one ZIP.
Keep source checks, human review and permission limits active at every stage.

What is inside the ZIP?

  • AI_Finance_Roadmap.pdf: a 25-page illustrated guide, six learning stages, full prompts, practice tables, worked results and readiness criteria.
  • Prompt_Pack.md: eight copy-ready instructions for scoping a task, data cleaning, variance analysis, sensitivity modeling, runbooks, a bounded-agent blueprint, independent review and management summaries.
  • Three CSV files: fictional actuals, budget and an account map. The actuals contain an exact duplicate so you can practice a traceable correction.
  • Expected_Results.md: the correct P&L totals, budget-to-actual bridge, volume scenarios and stress tests.
  • Readiness_Checklist.md: evidence to collect before you expand the workflow or release an output.
  • START_HERE.md: the short getting-started instructions and file index.

The archive contains one PDF, four Markdown files and three CSV files. The eight prompts are sections within Prompt_Pack.md.

Practice with a case you can check

Work through a fictional October reporting case in USD. Clean 36 source rows down to 35 retained records, explain why EBITDA moved from a $55,000 budget to a $40,000 actual result, and test a volume sensitivity with explicit assumptions.

Practice case: EBITDA variance bridge from $55,000 to $40,000, volume scenarios and the PDF, Markdown and CSV contents of the roadmap ZIP.
Illustrative practice data. The same figures are used in the guide, prompts, CSV files and answer key.

How to use the pack

  1. Open the PDF and choose the first stage where you cannot yet demonstrate a checked output.
  2. Open the Markdown prompt pack in a text editor. Copy the relevant instruction into your approved AI assistant and use the supplied dummy CSV data.
  3. Inspect the calculations and compare them with the worked answers. Keep observed facts separate from assumptions.
  4. Record the checks, reviewer and unresolved exceptions before extending the process or giving an agent more access.
Know what you are downloading. This is a learning guide, editable prompts, practice data and process blueprints. It does not install an autonomous agent, connect to your accounts or include an Excel dashboard. File-reading and calculation capabilities depend on your chosen AI environment. The sample is a simplified P&L, not a cash forecast.
